Inspiring Success All Arts Council

( ISAAC ) 

 

Formed in 2014 from the “Community Arts Pilot Project”, done with the University of Missouri & MU Extension, the Lexington Arts Council has been bringing art to the community.

Goals

Attract, inspire, and promote artists

Stimulate vibrancy, quality of life and pride of place

Maximize the economic value of the arts

Foster creativity and provide opportunities for arts education

Become an information and resource center for artists, art groups, and the public 

 

We’ve also been supporting our youth!

- Brought the Coterie Theatre to students at the LEX

- Provided scholarships for student acting classes

- Displayed children’s artwork downtown for BAM (Bike Across Missouri)

- Youth craft activities throughout the year at community family events



Mission Statement

To enrich the quality of life and advance economic growth in

Lexington and surrounding communities through appreciation, promotion,

and development of the arts. 

 

The Lexington Arts Council is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization
